Primary Residential Programs

Primary Residential Programs tend to provide the strongest clinical work and the highest level of containment. This allows our clients to address the problems that created the crisis point, such as addiction, mental health or behavioral issues. We look towards treatment centers that treat the whole person, addressing mental and physical health, substance abuse, and trauma.

All of the Primary Residential Programs we refer to are licensed and respected. We tailor or recommendation to specific therapists whenever possible. Our team is in constant communication with the Primary Residential Program staff to ensure the best care possible for our clients, and to start building a strong plan for the secondary placement.

Outdoor Therapeutic Programs

Outdoor Therapeutic Programs provide an out-of-the-box method of creating change, and are a completely different experience than a residential program. By incorporating nature itself as part of the therapeutic process, an adolescent or young adult can start to work through the varying issues that brought the family to a point of crisis. We look to Outdoor Therapeutic Programs for an initial assessment and intervention stage as we create a long term treatment plan for the family.

All of the Outdoor Therapeutic Programs we refer to are licensed and respected. Because of the nature of most wilderness programs, we truly tailor our choice based on specific therapists and groups, as this can vary wildly even within a particular program.

Our team is in constant communication with the Outdoor Therapeutic Program staff to ensure the best care possible for our clients, and to start planning for the secondary placement.

Extended Care, Therapeutic Boarding and Sober Living

Our team looks at Primary Residential Programs and Outdoor Therapeutic Programs as the first step to wellness for our clients. Following those programs, we tailor a longer-term fit to increase the chances of success for both our clients and their families. Programs can range from structured sober living homes, to residential extended care treatment facilities, to therapeutic boarding schools, to outpatient programs. Our aftercare placements will depend on the clinical work done in the initial treatment setting, as well as taking into account educational or career goals. We work with the family, client, and initial treatment program to build out a solution that works for everyone. We also encourage our families to engage in their own personal therapeutic work, and we provide resources for all of the family members.
